Adventure Travel
Forest Knights have teamed up with our friends at Ed Bassett Adventures and Northern Soul to offer a range of exciting adventurous destinations. We believe our combination of skills and experience enable us to create some of the best possible holidays. The Canadian and Finnish Wilderness are perfect for exploration by open canoe.
Forest Knights Adventures offer the outdoor enthusiast the opportunity to watch wildlife and develop a real affinity with the world's wild place. Paddling through ancient forests along crystal clear rivers we enable you to understand the nature of bushcraft as you slow down leaving the stress of modern life behind. You quickly become part of the team, working together to create an unrivalled experience. Quiet evenings sitting by the fire drinking hot chocolate and watching the myriad of stars illuminate the camp.
Open canoeing is a perfect way to observe wildlife. On our many adventures we have enabled our clients to view Wolf, Bear, Otters, Beaver and Bison. The list is endless. Even if you have little or no experience of canoeing or wilderness travel Forest Knights and our partners will be able to develop your skills and self confidence. We can offer pre-trip training and BCU star awards if you require them.
All of our wilderness trips are open to disabled clients. We have a proven track record of enabling people with disabilities to achieve their dreams in a helpful and supportive manner. We do not believe that physical or mental illness should limit your sense of freedom and adventure. Please telephone us to discuss your individual needs.
All Forest Knights instructors are trained in remote first aid. On the more adventurous trips we will have a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (WEMT) in the team.
